Kia Ora,

I’m originally from Auckland, and after travelling the world, I’ve returned to our beautiful country, now living just 10 minutes from where I grew up!

I’m the proud mother of three wonderful children, all of whom have thrived at Uptown Kids. They are excelling in both school and university, which speaks volumes about our home-like centre,

our dedicated teachers, and our philosophy of “learning through play.”

I hold an Honours degree in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. After having children, I made the rewarding switch from gyms to childcare, and I absolutely love it.

Children are truly precious, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to care for yours.

"I'm sending this email to announce the last day of Alyssa at Uptown Kids, as she will be commencing school very soon. I would also like to mention that this is a very emotional and special moment for us, as Alyssa entered Uptown Kids when she was only 6-month-old. So far, she has spent the biggest part of her life as an Uptown Kid - kid! I still vividly remember the day I decided to enrol her. When I came to visit the facilities, we were greeted by the sweetest 5-year-old girl, who welcomed Alyssa and me with a big smile. She showed us around with such grace, passion, confidence, and enthusiasm that I was immediately captivated. From that moment, I knew Uptown Kids was exactly what I wished for Alyssa: a place where she could develop her personality, curiosity, confidence, friendships, and love of learning. Today, I can see how she has grown happy and learned all the incredible attributes of that stunning little girl who captivated me on the very first date. This has only been possible thanks to your vision and the wonderful team who, throughout the years, have walked alongside her, taught her, and cared for her with so much dedication and love. For that, we are deeply grateful. We wish the best to all of you!"
